Redevelopment Plans

February 2024 – Update

 

We are delighted to report that building works are proceeding well.  Our building contractors, Red Construction Limited, have made excellent progress and, although they have lost a few days during the winter months, they are hoping to be back on track and are working towards their deadline for the 29th July 2024.  We then have a month to completely move in.  We are aiming for a fully operational home by September this year.

 

Rory, our registered manager and our chairman Robert, have regular monthly project meetings with the construction team and the key people involved with the build.  Our experience with Red Construction has been extremely positive and whilst there is no denying we have a building site next door, all involved with the project are very considerate and, within the Home, it is hard to believe the project is taking place.

 

There is, as you can appreciate, a lot of work behind the scenes to plan ahead for the interiors.

 

Car parking provision on the remainder of the site will be somewhat restricted, so we ask that you bear with us regarding that.  There is of course, a free car park on the opposite side of Hurst Road plus limited parking on neighbouring roads.
